October 2026 release (8.149) - Rillion prime

Print article

The October 2026 release (8.149.0) includes a number of application corrections and changed application functionality

Application refers to changes and corrections made in the Rillion prime application that are visible or noticeable to the end user.

Operational refers to changes and corrections made behind the application that end users will not notice but are important to consultants and partners.

APPLICATION

New or changed functionality

Buyer

  • Company-level requisition defaults for suppliers

Four new company-level settings let administrators define default values that are applied automatically whenever a new supplier is added — whether through an ERP import, the supplier web service, or the supplier queue. The settings control whether new suppliers are available for purchase, the default purchase method, the default purchase order email address, and the accepted over-delivery percentage. This reduces the manual configuration required when onboarding new suppliers.

  • Automatic supplier linking for Item Types

A new option on the Item Type (commodity) detail page — "Link to all suppliers (Available for Purchase)" — automatically links every newly added supplier to that Item Type. When enabled, any supplier imported or added to the system is immediately available for that Item Type without manual linking. Existing suppliers and existing links are not affected by enabling this setting.

Navigation

  • Analytics menu renamed and repositioned

"Rillion Analytics" in the main navigation has been renamed to "Analytics" and moved to appear above the Reports section. The change makes the menu shorter and places analytics closer to where users typically look for reporting tools.

  • Updated Rillion Prime logo and favicon

The Rillion Prime logo and browser tab icon (favicon) have been updated to reflect the current Rillion brand. The new branding appears consistently across all parts of the application.

Invoice

  • Dynamic flow preserved when invoice returns from enquiry

When an invoice is sent for enquiry and then returned to the approver, the dynamic flow authorization is now correctly kept in place. The approver can continue to sign the invoice with the same authorization limits as before the enquiry was sent. This behaviour is maintained even when an invoice goes through enquiry multiple times.

Corrections

Invoice

  • Dynamic flow continued to unnecessary approver after fixed role signed

Fixed an issue where the invoice approval flow continued to an additional approver even after a fixed role with sufficient authorization had already signed the invoice. The extra step is now correctly removed once the fixed role completes signing.

  • Two users could open and sign the same invoice simultaneously

Fixed an issue where the invoice lock was not properly enforced, allowing two users to open and process the same invoice at the same time. The invoice is now correctly locked when opened, preventing concurrent modifications.

  • Invoice lock expired while user was actively working

Fixed an issue where the invoice lock timed out after 30 minutes even when a user was actively working on the invoice. The lock now renews automatically based on page activity, so users are no longer interrupted during longer sessions.

PO Matching

  • Purchase order report showed invoiced amount in wrong currency

Fixed the "Invoiced amount" column in the purchase order report to correctly convert and display the invoiced amount in the purchase order's currency. Previously the amount was shown in the original invoice currency without conversion.

  • Line-level PO matching under-matched or over-matched split invoices

Fixed a regression introduced in release 8.145.0 where line-level purchase order matching returned incorrect remaining quantities when an invoice referenced the same purchase order line across multiple invoice lines. This caused some lines to be under-matched and others to be over-matched.

Contract

  • Contracts could not be deleted

Fixed an error that prevented contracts from being deleted. The issue was caused by an internal database procedure targeting an incorrect object. Contracts can now be deleted as expected.

Supplier

  • "Vendor not found" error during automated invoice import

Fixed an issue where the system incorrectly reported a "vendor not found" error during automated invoice import, even when the supplier was present in the system. A caching problem caused stale data to be returned. The correct supplier information is now always retrieved.

OPERATIONAL

New or changed functionality

Integration

  • REST API for role management

New endpoints in the Prime REST API allow integration partners and system administrators to manage roles programmatically — list roles, retrieve a single role, create or replace a role, and delete or deactivate a role. A single write operation saves the role along with its company assignments, users, and all account, object, commodity, and expense type permissions. This makes it possible to automate role management as part of onboarding workflows.

System

  • Faster Excel report generation for invoice account postings

Excel reports for invoice account postings now generate more quickly. The system no longer retrieves AI prediction data when it is not required for the report output, reducing the time needed to produce the file.

Corrections

eInvoice (France)

  • eInvoice refusal notifications not moved to archive after delivery

Fixed an issue where France eInvoice refusal notifications sent via FTP were not moved to the archive folder after successful delivery. The FTP passive mode setting was also not being applied when connecting. Both issues are now resolved.

  • eInvoice lifecycle messages silently lost when multiple events were pending

Fixed an issue where an eInvoice refusal message could be lost without any error when an invoice had several pending lifecycle events at the same time. Each outbound message now receives a unique file name so messages no longer overwrite each other.

AI Matching

  • Invoice flow shown as AI-suggested when AI flow was switched off

Fixed an issue where an invoice approval flow was displayed as "AI suggested" even when AI flow had been turned off in the company or supplier settings. The label now correctly reflects whether the flow was actually generated by AI.

  • AI match confidence score included reasoning confidence incorrectly

Fixed an issue where the overall AI match confidence score was lowered by the confidence of AI reasoning explanations. Only the actual predicted account coding values are now used when calculating the confidence score.
